There are two types of people in the world: those who can’t help but laugh along with the SNL cast members as they continually break character and those who are cynics and refuse to have fun and think sloths aren’t adorable.
This sketch was a complete mess, yes. BUT it was also the funnest sketch I’ve seen on SNL in a long while. And I am completely head over heels in love with it.
BEST SKETCH EVER
You can’t help fall in love with these talented celebrities when you realize, during sketches like this, that they’re just a bunch of weirdos who love making each other laugh.
This was actually one of the funniest sketches ever.
This is one of my favorite sketches. My staff and I quoted this all summer and my one staffer is so good at doing all the impressions. “It could be beef” was probably the phrase of the season.
Bad news, Deborah!
The best moment in SNL Season 37!!

When I was a kid my Dad came upon a truckload of cellophane and he wanted me to help him sell it. So I was taking it to the kids at school, trying to sell it to my teachers. I went and stood in front of the supermarket. I had a fantasy that one day someone would buy all of it. That some guy would just come along and be like ‘I’ll take em all’ It never happened. So I was walking out of Ralph’s one day and I saw these kids trying to sell these cookies and I was like yeah, I’ll take them all. So I bought hundreds and hundreds of boxes. I didn’t realize how many boxes I was going to have. I had a car full of them. I didn’t know what to do so I started just like throwing them out the window to people on the street. [*]
